BLUE MONDAY

BLUE MONDAY

Blue Monday is supposed to be the saddest day of the year according to an apparent expert who found the start of the third week in January to be the most depressing! However, I say why does it have to be? Why does today have to be any different to all of the others? There isn’t a reason!

Each day is exactly how you make it. If you wake up in a bad mood and don’t do anything about it, then guess what? You’re probably going to be in a bad for the rest of the day.

YOU are in control of your emotions – not the shape of the stars, the people around you, the train times or the days of the week. YOU!
I want to use this week to put you back in control of your own brain. This doesn’t mean feeling happy all the time or being excited about every single moment. It’s simply about acknowledging your emotions and not letting them get to you more than they need to.

Blue Monday is normally associated with sadness because people go back to work, abandon their resolutions, break their diet, experience bad weather, and don’t have anything exciting over the horizon. Life isn’t just about getting through – it’s about living! It’s OK to feel down every now and again, but if it’s taking over your life, then it’s definitely something you need to look at.
