Did you know that carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by too much stress to the tendons of the wrist? It also occurs more in women and you are more likely to get it if a family member has it.

However, these aren’t the only things that can cause this painful condition. Things like pregnancy, other hormonal changes, as well as being overweight can also trigger this condition so it’s really important to watch out for the symptoms so that you can catch it before it get worse.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is something that affects people of all ages, but particularly those between the ages of 19-60 years old. This condition can cause a numbness or tingling in the hand and the arm which can be due to a pinched nerve. The condition can also bring about some pain. Here are tips to better manage this condition.

Tip #1: Try Vitamin B6

Some experts suggest that around 90 percent of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) cases can be cured by B6

Tip #2: Follow an Anti-inflammatory Diet    

To help cool the inflammation, it is recommended that you try to incorporate more anti-inflammatory foods into your diet. Try things like dark leafy greens, berries, and wild-caught salmon.

Tip #3: Try Essential Oils                

Essential oils can work wonders for a number of conditions, and carpal tunnel syndrome is one of them. You can try mixing a couple of drops of wintergreen essential oil with some coconut oil and applying it to the area of the wrist that is sore for some relief.
