First Dry January, now Dechox – when will they give us a break?!
Dechox has been set up by the British Heart Foundation in order to help raise funds for their life saving research and also, keep your health in check. For one month, you give up all chocolate containing foods. That means no chocolate bars, cakes, biscuits, or even sprinkles on your cappuccino. You can do this as a personal challenge or set up a sponsorship page to help raise funds for BHF.
Why would you want to do such a thing?
Well, as we’ve already mentioned, you can help raise money toward their research which can help save countless lives. As well as this, it can be a great move for your health. If you’re a bit of a chocoholic, then it can be useful to teach yourself that you don’t need chocolate in order to get through the week. Lastly, it can be a good challenge that can leave you happy and satisfied with accomplishment which is only boosted when taking on the journey with friends and/or family. As a juicy bonus, you may also find that you save money from caving into those sugar cravings throughout your day.
