NATURAL DETOX

NATURAL DETOX

Did you know that store-bought detox products can be dangerous and very hard on the body? They can cause detox symptoms and make many people feel ill. Instead of choosing a detox product, you can naturally detox your body with the food choices you make. If you focus on a clean and healthy diet, your body will be more efficient at flushing out toxins, and you will even help prevent toxins from building up altogether.

To help you get started, try starting your day with a superfood smoothie. Try adding some fruit, dark leafy greens, almond milk, a tablespoon of coconut oil, and chia seeds to a blender and blend. Enjoy this for breakfast to kick start natural detox and fuel your body for the day.

Keeping our bodies in tip-top shape means keeping our bodies free from toxins. The problem is that many of the foods available today can lead to toxic buildup in the body and can lead to digestive upset, lowered immunity, among other issues.

To help keep our body free from toxins it is best to avoid harsh detoxes but rather focus on consuming naturally detoxifying foods each day to keep us healthy.

 Enjoy Naturally Detoxifying Foods

Cruciferous vegetables are great to help the body detox. Try adding some broccoli, cauliflower, or Brussels sprouts to your diet.

Stay Hydrated

It is essential to stay hydrated not only for proper body function but to also help flush out toxins. Stick to filtered water as much as possible. If you want to enjoy something other than water, try adding some sliced fruit to a water pitcher to make your own fruit infused water.

For this week’s challenge, I challenge you to enjoy naturally detoxifying foods.
