Psoriasis is a skin condition where skin cells build up and then form scales as well as very dry and itchy patches. This can be very uncomfortable and while this skin condition cannot be cured there are lots of natural ways you can help reduce the symptoms.

Tip #1: Try Cleavers

Cleavers have been used as a common domestic herbal remedy for a number of conditions. Besides being a very effective diuretic, cleavers is frequently taken internally to treat skin complaints like eczema and psoriasis.

Cleavers are used internally as well as externally for treating an assortment of diseases, for instance, in the form of a poultice to treat wounds, ulcers and various skin disorders.

Tip #2: Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a great natural way to help reduce scalp itch due to its natural disinfectant properties. You can dilute the vinegar with water using a 1:1 ratio but keep in mind that this should not be used if you have an open wound.

Tip #3: Turmeric

Turmeric is a wonderful anti-inflammatory spice which is why it is so helpful for those with psoriasis. Try adding turmeric to your diet by adding it to curry dishes or making a delicious curry dish with turmeric.
