What is Chamomile?
Chamomile is the name given to one of several different species in the daisy family (known as the Asteraceae family) that is native to eastern and southern Europe as well as some parts of western Asia. The name chamomile comes from the Greek word “chamos” which means “ground”, due to growing so low on the ground, and “melos” which means “apple”, which refers to the apple-like scent when fresh chamomile blooms.
