What is Milk Thistle?
Milk Thistle is a herb that is part of the sunflower family and is native to Europe. This herb has bright purple flowering heads and gets its name from the white sap that comes out when the leaves of the flowering heads are crushed.
Why does this Milk Thistle Tincture contain alcohol?
Alcohol is used as it is an excellent solvent for extracting herbal medicines. The amount of alcohol used in this herbal tincture is small and therefore does not have any intoxicating effects.

15 to 30 drops in little water, up to 3 times a day, or as directed by health practitioner.
